Welcome to Words Rain Down, a collection of writing by Brian Colligan
In the wake of having created several blogs, only to watch them wither and die, I welcome you to this latest effort. While most of the items posted will be my professional work with The Daily Reflector newspaper in Greenville, N.C., I hope to also use this space as an outlet for other writing that does not find its way into the newspaper. That includes some of my less serious writing when the spirit moves, as well as other items of a more serious nature that might not fit in the confines of a daily editorial page. Well … we’ll see how it goes.
An important note about the links: The Reflector does not have a full archive so the links are only active for a while (about three-four weeks). After that you’ll have to make due with the copied content on the posts. Sorry.
I encourage you to poke around and check the archives. You can also check my Tumblr page (link to the right) for more of the A/V stuff I find in a given day. I can’t promise to post on a daily basis, but will update as regularly as possible.
